We made it?

Well we made it alive and well.  Our luggage is another story.  While Obeth lost her luggae en-route to Switzerland the rest of us lost ours probably betweeen Toronto and London.  I don't know of anything quite as sweet as seeing a good friend waiting at the airport.  Min Sapkota was there and had been for more than three hours.  Patience is a wonderful gift that all Nepali's seem to have.  I started the Blog as the rest of the team is busy washing clothes and getting ready for the day.  We have to be quick about our computer use as once the power is gone it's gone without a warning.  We have only 8-10 hrs. a day and when it will be is not known.  Shanta and Min are well and ask that we greet all the brothers and sisters at CLBI and beyond.  Cheryl and I were surprised with a wonderful gift.  A 12 year old girl we had seen desperately ill in a small village was treated in hospital through the efforts and dilligence of Shanta and her staff.  She had been laying on a cot for 2-3 months once at the hospital it was discovered that she had a broken leg and dislocated hip.  Her convalescence was along one lasting over six months.  She is now at the PRC and is able to walk with a limp and the aid of a staff.  We look at her and marvel at Gods providence and are thankful that he chose to weave us into Loxmi's story.  All of the team send their Love and thanks for continued prayer.

  2. Hi there! It's good to read that you've arrived, even if your luggage hasn't. Hopefully it won't be long before you're reunited with your things.

We look forward to future blog entries. :)

Give Larissa a hug from me.

Praying for a God-designed growing experience for you all.

    In Christ,
